Authenticity is about the lived experience in the moment rather than a concept. Our Buddha nature contains wise action just as the acorn contains the oak tree; and with practice our Buddha nature grows, thus allowing the authentic experience to unfold. Three qualities improve our authenticity practice: mindfulness, aspiration, and surrender.
