In this talk, Phillip covers the component parts of mindfulness, and how they serve us in the four categories for investigation in daily life: what's happening, the deeper specifics of what's happening, the mind's relationship to this experience, and what Dharma is to be found in it, just as it is.  While some can get confused by just what "investigation" means, it's really about cultivating an attitude of curiosity, which can use the energy from an afflictive emotion in the service of investigation.

Date of talk: November 7, 2010
Length: 48 minutes
