This meditation increases our embodied awareness — knowing self through the experience of being in the body. We progressively relax areas of our body until we allow ourselves to be supported by Earth. We then focus on the breath as it repeatedly comes to the foreground of our experience, and we return to the breath no matter how many times we are interrupted by stimuli from the various sense gates.
