Dancing With Life Teacher Guide

Welcome Teacher,

We are pleased that you will be exploring Dancing with Life with your students.

The following materials have been created for you to utilize with your students as you teach the book. Periodically, please drop us an e-mail and let us know how your teaching of the book is going, including any stumbling blocks, aha-moments, or anything in-between. Any feedback you have for us will be most useful.

1. Introductory talk on Dancing With Life by Phillip Moffitt [below]
This downloadable dharma talk provides an overview of the Twelve Insights of the Four Noble Truths. You may want to begin your teaching of the book by sharing this talk with your students.

2. Teacher’s Guide to Dancing with Life [below]

This teacher’s guide offers recommendations for how to teach the material in the book and for addressing certain challenges your students may encounter. Also available are sample curricula  that have been developed by other teachers. Let us know the legnth of time you plan to spend on the book and we can send you an appropriate model.

3. “A Year of Dancing with Life”

Phillip has extracted 52 teachings from the book and combined them with unique reflections to create a yearlong series of e-mail teachings called “A Year of Dancing with Life”

The program of 52 teachings is archived and comprise an excellent guide to practicing the material in the book:

5.  Dancing with Life Discussion Board
You may also find the Dancing with Life discussion board valuable in your study of the book. The discussion board is moderated by Meg Agnew, who teaches yoga and vipassana in Seattle and has taught Dancing with Life in her sangha.

We have a special arrangement with the publisher of Dancing with Life that will allow you to buy a case of 20 books directly from them at a discount. If you are interested, contact: Jessie [dot] Borkan [at] Rodale [dot] com

May your teaching of this material deepen your own practice and your understanding of the dharma. May your understanding of the dharma be a benefit to you, your loved ones, and all those with whom you come in contact.
